Mark Peterson is a visionary leader with decades of experience in church facility development, design consulting, and ministry planning. As a Strategic Ministry Consultant with LDI, he helps churches create intentional, relationship-driven environments that support ministry growth and impact.
Mark brings deep expertise in master planning, architectural coordination, and high-level space design—rooted in over 40 years of leadership in a nationally recognized architectural woodwork business he co-founded and grew to $32 million in annual revenue. Drawing from his business background and passion for ministry, he’s guided projects across multiple campuses and denominations, including planning and design for multi-million-dollar church facilities.
With a heart for the Church and a gift for building spaces that foster connection, Mark has served in a variety of consulting roles for churches across the U.S. His ministry work spans decades—from site planning and sanctuary renovations to large-scale church expansions in Georgia, Florida, and beyond. He views architecture as a means to strengthen human relationships and create impactful ministry experiences.
Married for 45 years with 10 children and 11 grandchildren, Mark continues to serve with integrity, creativity, and a passion for excellence. He is committed to helping ministries steward their resources well and build environments that reflect God’s presence and purpose.
